Senior/Lead Quality Assurance/Automation Engineer (f/m/d)

Your mission at vialytics:

You play a key role in safeguarding the reliability and quality of the vialytics platform – the technology that empowers cities to digitize and simplify road infrastructure management. Your mission is to evolve our quality assurance practices and test automation – making them robust, efficient, and seamlessly integrated – so that municipalities and partners can trust the system they use to detect road damage, optimize their workflows, and make data-driven decisions every day. What you ensure directly impacts the performance of our product and strengthens its value for public services around the world.

Your contribution to the product

• Test Automation: You develop and maintain robust automated test suites for our web and mobile platforms – with a focus on end-to-end and integration testing.
• Quality Assurance: You own the technical QA strategy and ensure that features work reliably, stably, and with a strong user focus.
• Bug Analysis: You systematically investigate bugs and regressions and collaborate closely with development teams to implement sustainable fixes.
• CI/CD Integration: You embed automated testing seamlessly into our build and deployment processes, ensuring continuous quality coverage.
• Team Enablement: You coach your teammates on testing methodologies, review processes, and how to build testability into the system architecture.

Skills that define you

• Experience: You have taken ownership of quality in digital products across various projects – from early concepts to full-scale rollouts.
• Tool Expertise: You are highly proficient with modern test automation frameworks like Playwright, web driver io, you are proficient with typescript and have hands on experiene with AI tools for test implementation and testing in general.
• DevOps Mindset: You are familiar with CI/CD systems and understand how to integrate testing into build and release workflows efficiently, you know bash well and great if you have experience with more programming languages like python, golang or dart.
• Analytical Thinking: You identify patterns in issues, think strategically about test coverage, and prioritize based on real user impact.
• Communication Skills: You clearly articulate QA standards and work collaboratively with engineers, product owners and designers in English.
